WHO WE ARE

About Us

Liquid Sounds originally started in the basement of our founder’s apartment in Ridgewood. Many in our community hosted house shows, recorded final projects & live performances for college finals, and even produced their very first singles in the basement. This momentum furthered the dream of one day opening a professional space where artists can come together. What originally started as a home project, has now flourished into a fully functional studio.

As local musicians, our founders wanted to create a space that is easily accessible for any artist in the community of Brooklyn. It is a community unlike any other in the world, and the studio is deeply inspired by the camaraderie of the local scene. We hope to contribute to the musical spirit of the area by being a safe and supportive destination for collaboration amongst many.

What is your rate?

Please fill out the contact form, or email us directly for booking inquiries.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We kindly ask that all bookings send a 50% deposit to solidify your time. Any cancellations made at least 24 hours before your booking are fully refundable.

Can I engineer my own sessions at liquid sounds?

We go on a case by case basis. Feel free to reach out for more information.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept electronic payments via Zelle or Venmo, cash, checks (payable to Liquid Sounds NYC LLC), and direct deposits/wire transfers.

Are there any deals for monthly/recurring bookings?

We’d love to work something out together! Contact us with details regarding your inquiry (session type, amount of hours, etc.) and we will be in touch.

Do you offer videography services?

At the moment we do not offer videography services.

Do you offer live sound services?

Yes, all of our team is available for live engineering. We also have a live sound system available for rental (2 x 12” JBL monitors, 1 LD system wedge, Behringer X2222USB Mixer [22 inputs], SM58’s and mic stands). Rentals must include engineering services by at least one of our team members.

What is the closest subway stop?

The studio is located 5 min walk from Halsey St (L train), 15 min from Myrtle-Wyckoff Ave (L train and M train) and 18 min from Chauncey St (J train)

Where can I go to eat in the area?

Aside from several delis nearby, our favorite local spots include Pan, Father Knows Best, Money Cat, Fazio’s and Doublé Bar.
